Download Putty

From the Putty archives, download putty.exe and puttygen.exe to a given folder:

Generate the key pair and copy the public key

Start puttygen.exe, keep the default settings to RSA 2048, hit Generate and move the mouse cursor. Save the public key (filename id_rsa.pub) and the private key (filename id_rsa.ppk) to the same folder:

Open the public key id_rsa.pub and copy it:

Add the public key to Adobe Campaign server

Create a workflow with just one Javascript activity with the following code:

var res = execCommand("cd && mkdir -p .ssh && touch .ssh/authorized_keys", true);
logInfo(res);
var key = "ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAADAQA+really+long+string myUser@myMachine";
var cmd = "echo '"+key+"' >> .ssh/authorized_keys";
var res = execCommand("cd && "+cmd, true);
logInfo(res);

Connect via SFTP

That’s it! You can now connect by SFTP to your ACC server:

  • Host: mkt-stage1.campaign.adobe.com
  • Protocol: SFTP SSH
  • Logon Type: Key File
  • User: neolane
  • Key File: ~/.ssh/id_rsa

Appendixes: Connect via SSH

$ ssh neolane@mkt-stage1.campaign.adobe.com
